Pedagogical Ethos
I challenge students to reach their own conclusions, guiding their enquiries and encouraging them to internalise and analyse subject material for themselves. My methods enable students to see that they are able to learn and adapt no matter how successful or unsuccessful they feel at the subject to begin with. This leads students to develop the detailed knowledge and independent thinking skills required to achieve their best.
Meet the Tutor
I completed my undergradute degree in Classics at the University of Cambridge, followed by teacher training (PGCE) and four years of teaching at a top independent school in London. Throughout my career, I have also tutored secondary school pupils and university students in one-to-one and group settings. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hillwalking, and watercolour painting.
